Humans call it a Yourte…

My humans really like it too. We all enjoy playing with it.

Evelyn and I think it is really cool too.

I’m looking forward to the next time we can live there together.

Humans have seasons. Dogs just have funtimes and dreamtimes. I think we are lucky.

The day we went to see the sea…

One day we were travelling and came down to the beautiful sea.

It was after a ride in the car and a walk 🙂

First I was puzzled because the water kept going away and coming back and being noisy.

So I tried to watch and understand and not be too scared.

At least I could run away faster than it could come up to me!

And when I tried to bite it back, it didn’t really work.


It didn’t taste too nice.

Eventually I got over being puzzled and scared and swam about happily 🙂

See, I have a big stick 😀 I am very good at swimming and I always get the stick 🙂

I don’t always feel like giving it back though! 🙂 It’s mine!

I dried myself a lot because it’s fun to shake off the water 😀

and went looking for something else to do…

I found a pine cone to play with 😀

and played around with it for a while



but the beach is a very sandy place to play…and when sometimes you swallow sand it doesn’t make you like it!

It tastes actually quite yucky even to a dog. And it gets in your nose and makes you sneeze!

So I wanted to play with another doggy friend.

The humans were too busy being human.

They told me not to dig under their feet coz it bothered them.

I was starting to get a bit bored…


So I wandered off to find a friend.

I combed the beach trying to smell if there was any other doggy around.

But I didn’t find anything.

Just sand and sea.

And I remembered my friend Evelyn.

I felt a bit lonely without her now.

I wondered if she would find me her and come to play with me.

But nobody came. I was the only dog I could play with on the beach.

So I told the sea to give Evelyn a message. I told her I was lonely without her and wanted her to play with me again soon.

Looking forward now to next time we are together and can be two dogs on the beach playing with the wind and the sand and the sea 😀

My noses’s birthday :)

Not so long ago I was with Evelyn and Albi on a beautiful island…

We could run over the rocks and among the pine trees… It was a very good smelling island 🙂 …

Our friend Albi liked it too and would run about a lot… he missed his human though and would sometimes be upset. Dogs miss their humans generally. I know Fred would miss me a lot.

In nature there is a lot to distract a dog… We have a much better nose than you, so everything has another dimension to us… It is like being able to smell a symphony compared to just listening to one instrument… We are very lucky. The world is a different place for us.

I am very grateful to be a dog and to now dream of this lovely place… I wag my tail in my sleep as I chase my friends over the rocks and taste all the delicious symphony of smells the world offers me like a present… Every day is my nose’s birthday! …

We both love cuddles, kisses, pats, playing and snuggling together and generally being around and close to each other.

We do everything synchronically :D

We often have the same needs and wishes 🙂 so we pee at the same time, bark together, play together, of course eat at the same time, sleep synchronically and we joyfully romp around Muppet for the fun of it coz it’s always good to go crazy when your friends are around 😀

As we were walking together today on one of Fred’s strange missions in the city, I realised we were going towards the train station! Really excited, I walk faster and start straining to hear or smell signs from Beba Evelyna and Muppet – I remembered that this was the place we had last spent time with them, last week. Maybe they live here now, I was thinking? Or maybe they live on a train? and are coming to see us? then I can play with other creatures than silly little Chaton and silly Fred!!
Fred wasn’t pulling me back or telling me to not pull on the lead (she shouts at me for doing this sometimes. i guess she doesn’t like pulling against me. that’s cos she’s a bit weak in the arms, i think.) So I kept up the pace. I wanted to find them!
We walked through the station, passed crowds of busy working humans, all skuffling about, getting in the way of Beba’s and Muppet’s signals to me.
When we came out of the station, I was confused completely.
They were nowhere to be smelt or heard. This probably meant they didn’t know I was there to find them.
I realised they must be doing something else with themselves instead of being where I could track them down, so I left them a message to say I had been there and looking for them. With my special smell. Now they will know where to be next time.

(At least Evelyn will. I don’t think Muppet, or any human for that matter, knows yet how to read dog’s smells. They always flush their own smells away. No wonder they are very poor at communicating anything useful to themselves. Even my amazingly fabulous nose can’t read a flushed smell. Silly billy humans. We dogs smells are the real keys to communication.)
